And let us know ahead of time if there’s any special requests like special moments or people you’d like us to photograph.

Our contract, which we’ll review in detail with you prior to the event so that we’re all on the same page, will clarify the scope of coverage, our deliverables,the duration of coverage, number of photographers on-site, and types of images you want (e.g., edited digital files, prints, albums).

Another important aspect – discussing usage rights and permissions for the event photos. Typically, you will be able to use the images for marketing materials, social media, or other purposes, and we as the photographers retain the copyrights.

We are all on a schedule so it’s important that we discuss the timeline for the photography. This includes the turnaround time for editing and post-processing, as well as the method of image delivery (the vast majority of the time, our clients prefer an online gallery).
