Loving Day honors the date in 1967 when the US Supreme Court struck down all anti-miscegenation laws across the country.
Mildred and Richard Loving were an interracial couple living in Virginia. They were arrested in 1958 for being married while black-and-white. Finally, NINE years after their arrest, they won their hard fought case. And interracial marriage has been legal in the US ever since.
Because of the Lovings, our clients were able to wed. Congratulations to Julia and Adam! Because their love for one another and their families and friends makes the world a better place.
